When we first heard about Bitcoin, we thought it was a scam.
The second time, we brushed it off as a fad.
The third time, though, we realized God might be nudging us to pay attention.
It wasn’t about hype or chasing the next big thing. It was about stewardship.
And over time, that shift in perspective took us from skepticism to action. Today, Bitcoin isn’t just something we talk about; it’s actually part of our Kingdom-focused investment fund.
Not because we’re chasing trends, but because we’re committed to stewarding resources with wisdom, courage, and a Kingdom lens.
So why even bother learning about Bitcoin? Why not just stay away from something that feels complicated, volatile, or “too new”?
Because as Kingdom stewards, we can’t afford to ignore the financial systems shaping the next generation.
Here’s what we discovered as we dug deeper:
- It’s not just hype. While plenty of people use Bitcoin for speculation, the technology behind it has real staying power.
- It’s like digital gold. Bitcoin offers a hedge against inflation and centralized systems, similar to how gold has been used for centuries.
- It’s about stewardship. We’re not talking about gambling on the next coin launch. We’re talking about understanding and wisely managing a tool that’s shaping the future of money.
- It’s part of multiplication. Stewardship isn’t just about protecting what you have; it’s about multiplying resources for legacy, impact, and Kingdom advancement.
If you’re curious but hesitant about digital currencies, here are a few lessons from our journey:
- Don’t let fear drive you. Fear kept us on the sidelines for too long. But God doesn’t call us to shrink back; He calls us to lead with wisdom and courage.
- Start with understanding, not investing. Before Bitcoin ever became part of our investment fund, we spent time learning. Read, ask questions, and pray before making moves.
- Seek Kingdom clarity, not cultural trends. The world chases quick wins. Kingdom stewardship looks at long-term legacy.
- It’s not all-or-nothing. Adding Bitcoin to our investment fund wasn’t about going “all in.” It was about wise diversification and alignment with Kingdom principles.

In Episode 10: Bitcoin Basics for Kingdom Living: A Faith-Based Perspective on Digital Currencies, we open up about:
- How we went from skeptics to adding Bitcoin to our investment fund.
- Why Bitcoin is sometimes called “digital gold” and what that means.
- Common myths vs. realities about digital currencies.
- How to think about Bitcoin through the lens of faith, wisdom, and legacy.
- Why Kingdom people can’t afford to ignore the financial systems shaping the future.

If you’ve been hesitant to explore Bitcoin or any new financial system, we get it. We’ve been there.
But here’s what we’ve learned: God doesn’t call us to fear the future.
He calls us to be good stewards of it and to multiply.
Whether you ever buy Bitcoin or not, the bigger question is this:
Are you willing to seek wisdom, lean into courage, and steward the resources God puts in your hands, old and new, with a Kingdom mindset?
Because at the end of the day, it’s not really about Bitcoin. It’s about faith, stewardship, and multiplication.
And share this episode with someone curious (or cautious) about Bitcoin.
